Chicago Jesuit Academy’s educational
goals are lofty. They are also expensive. The cost of educating
a student in classes of 12 or fewer students from breakfast
at 7:30 AM until the end of study hall at 6:00 PM is $12,000
annually.
Chicago Jesuit Academy charges no tuition.
Families make a $120 investment in their child’s education
and make an 8-hour volunteer committment throughout the
11-month school year. Students also have daily responsibility
for the upkeep of our school building.
Much of the support necessary to operate
the Academy comes from 4-year Sustainable Scholarships.
Sustainable Scholarships are gifts from individuals, groups
of individuals, families, foundations and corporations who
contribute $12,000 annually for each of the four years a
student is with us.
Sustainable Scholarship Sponsors receive:
o A letter from a different student each semester describing
the student’s progress
o Photos of students
o Recognition in Academy publications
o Invitations to special Academy events
o Tax deductions for their gifts
o The satisfaction of knowing they have helped open the
doors of a college education to a child from an underserved
background
The Sustainable Scholarship program is vital
to the success of Chicago Jesuit Academy and our student’s
future. Please consider a scholarship gift.
